There is a school of thought – Manchester Business School in fact – that stipulates if you have not got able & motivated employees interacting with well-satisfied customers you have not got a business. MBS argue that these two stakeholder groups are the most important in any business. We agree.
So why would you not make your staff the most motivated people on earth? Motivation comes from communication, being aware of the global picture, your individual contribution to it, suitably-rewarded. We can’t do anything about pay, but we can impact on knowledge.
