Souters has brought in an experienced former communications officer and a journalism graduate to strengthen its team. Diane Inglis and Meg Binns have joined the Cheadle Hulme based consultancy as Account Manager and Graduate Trainee respectively. It takes the team to five. Diane was formerly communications officer at Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry and prior to that Press and PR Officer at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. She comes in to work on the fast-paced PR and press office account for leading personal injury firm Irwin Mitchell, production of Food Northwest’s bi-annual ‘Blend’ magazine and key food client Warburtons. Meg, 24, joins the team from University of Chester where she got a degree in journalism. She will be following an in-house graduate training scheme. MD Sue Souter said: “It’s a great mix of youth and experience! Diane brings excellent media skills into the agency and contacts at regional and national level. Meg brings terrific enthusiasm and will provide valuable support to the campaigns as she learns.” Souters clients are all enjoying growth in spite of the tough recent economic conditions. Accident management business EasiDrive, who have been working with the consultancy for 18 months on a programme of PR and marketing activity, were recently listed at number 51 in the Virgin Sunday Times Fast Track 100 – a national league table of sales performance.
